The working procedure of the project can be described from the following figure. In the following figure power supply adapter is used in order to step down the voltage from 220V to 12V. This 12V dc is directly connected to reduce the voltage from 12V to 2.5V. This Node MCU module is connected with 6 channel relay module. An inverter have been used to invert the voltage from 3.5V to 5V.

Security is an important issue nowadays, as the possibilities of intrusion are increasing day by day.
The emerging advances in the field of the Internet of things or IoT are game changers. You can see IoT everywhere, devices of all shapes and sizes. Soon IoT technology is poised to disrupt several other industries.
Project Scope Statement
It detects the obstacle or motion in the surrounding. The transmitter will transmit IR rays which will be reflected back if it falls on some object like person, animal, vehicles, etc. The reflected ray will be received by receiver diode and hence will confirm the presence of object and the corresponding LED will be glowed. This method will save significant amount of electricity as the street light will only turns on if there is someone present in the Street. IR sensor has 3 pins, two of which are VCC and ground and one is output pin. The output of IR sensor gets high if detects presence of some object.
The Internet of Things, sometimes known as IoT, refers to any smart device with an on/off switch that may gather, send, and exchange data across a network. First, you have to get the HEX codes of the remote buttons, then update the HEX code in the code. Now you can control the appliances with the IR remote. You can always control the appliances manually with push buttons. And if the ESP32 is not connected with the Wi-Fi, still you can control the appliances with push buttons.

Here is the code for changing the state of LEDs using ThingSpeak. We have already shown above the procedure to change the state of the LEDs. Led_1, led_2, led_3 stores the last state of led from the ThingSpeak using the function ThingSpeak.readIntField which takes channel number, respective field number and read API key.
First, you have to add ESP32 devices in Arduino IoT Cloud. The service provider will not try to save any information related to the installation plan, such as passwords keys and other related stuff. No guarantee of external security for the home will be discussed as this project is for home automation. The system can control every home automated device with a single touch.
The Arduino Uno microcontroller is used to eliminate the use of a personal computer keeping the cost of the overall system to a minimum. Devices such as light switches, fans have been integrated in the system to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed smart home system. The smart home app is tested and it is able successfully perform the smart home operations of switching functionalities. The app has been made user friendly and a password protection feature has been added to improve the security. Till date, no silver bullet exists that can effectively implement security in IoT on devices.
Loads- L1, L2& L3 are shorted with respectively relays- RL3, RL2 & RL1. Relays RL3, RL2& RL1 connect with respectively 11, 12 &13 pin of Arduino Uno and also connect with +5V power supply . IOT based home security systems have attracted peoples attention mostly because of its global coverage. For example, a user can check his or her house while being on a vacation outside the country.
Additionally, if any device is left on by mistake, this system allows the user to turn off those devices remotely which reduce losses of electricity. The main purpose of the home automation system is to provide energy efficiency, security, and entertainment. The main problem with these devices is that they are unable to interact with each other effectually .
This analysis is about the prices of equipment used in this project. A command is sent to the server to turn on light 1 and light 2. Then the server read the command and send corresponding signal to the Wi-Fi module receive the signal and send response to the relay driver. Two light and fan connect with individual channel of relay module and the door connects with solenoid & servo motor, finally each loads connect with ground . Energy usage data may be monitored in real-time, saved for subsequent analysis, exported as CSV or xls files, and combined with energy pricing data for basic cost management.
